Door guide

Sliding doors

Large-opening glass doors, including multi-slide and lift-and-slide, for indoor-outdoor openings.

What to know

  • Standard two-panel sliders and multi-slide walls are different products and prices.
  • The header and sill have to be designed for the opening, not improvised on site.
  • Ask who has installed this hardware before — not just “patio doors.”

Size is a structural problem

A conventional two-panel sliding patio door is a stock product. Multi-panel and lift-and-slide walls are closer to a storefront: they need a proper header, a drained sill, and an installer who has set that hardware. Budget lifting equipment and finishing, not just the glass.
